LEAP GENERAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 22-23

LEAP is holding its 2010 general meeting on September 22-23 at the Marriott Hotel in Stamford CT. LEAP is very excited to hold the meeting and cover several important topics such as regulatory issues and automation implementation. What LEAP Does

LEAP promotes efficient transaction processing of crude oil and refined petroleum product trading. LEAP's goals include increased accuracy, timeliness, efficiency, managed risk, and regulatory credibility through voluntary automation and standardization of energy trades.

LEAP Committee Work

LEAP works toward its goals through committees which are set up to address individual areas of voluntary standardization and automation. To learn more about an individual committee, go to the Committee tab below and look through the Drop-Down Menu for your area of interest.

Life of Deal

To learn about the transactional process and LEAP's role in it, click on the "Life of Deal" chart below. This will bring you to a page where you may select specific transactional areas describing the automation opportunity and whether LEAP has begun work in that area.

US MARINE

In the summer of 2009, the US Marine Committee completed work the Marine Annex addition to the Master Agreement. The Committee's focus may go towards preparing training materials and the further adoption of the agreements.

As of Spring 2010, the group is inactive until a new project is undertaken. However, questions pertaining to the US Marine Annex may be addressed by contacting Patricia Krause.
