LEAP GENERAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 22-23

LEAP is holding its 2010 general meeting on September 22-23 at the Marriott Hotel in Stamford CT. LEAP is very excited to hold the meeting and cover several important topics such as regulatory issues and automation implementation. What LEAP Does

LEAP promotes efficient transaction processing of crude oil and refined petroleum product trading. LEAP's goals include increased accuracy, timeliness, efficiency, managed risk, and regulatory credibility through voluntary automation and standardization of energy trades.

LEAP Committee Work

LEAP works toward its goals through committees which are set up to address individual areas of voluntary standardization and automation. To learn more about an individual committee, go to the Committee tab below and look through the Drop-Down Menu for your area of interest.

GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION

LEAP holds periodic General Meetings for the membership and first-time guests interested in learning about LEAP. In the past these have typically been 2-day events held once per year in Europe and once per year in North America. These events give members an opportunity to contribute their ideas via presentations and work-group meetings. These events also present an opportunity to meet with, and make connections with fellow industry participants.

The next LEAP General meeting will be held on September 22-23, 2010. It will be held at the Marriot Hotel in Stamford, CT. The Board is currently creating the preliminary aganda, which upon completion will be sent via a Newsletter to those signed up for LEAP Updates.
